And you might want to have some extra days before and after to continue adding birds to your list, your memory card or just your memory. The Bay of Banderas is always full of colorful birds, friendly people, and plenty of birders. Throw in a few tacos here and there, and you have a Fiesta!

Vallarta Botanical Garden

The internationally acclaimed Vallarta Botanical Garden is a bird-rich 64-acre Botanical Garden at 1,300 ft above sea level, 30 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. The Garden was founded in 2004 and has been open to the public since 2005.
